Event Description
The Oxnard Salsa Festival kicks off its 16th anniversary celebration with the Ventura County SALSA Dash on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 8 a.m. This run/walk is a fast and flat sightseeing course through downtown Oxnard, and the chance to raise money for a worthwhile cause: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Beginning at Heritage Square, the Dash route travels through the business district and the wide, charming streets of the Henry T. Oxnard National Historic District, ending in the historic heart of downtown at Plaza Park with salsa music, refreshments, and an awards ceremony.
