Hi Ladilox! Persimmons are awesome any which way! So Great in smoothies, or as a pudding-just whiz thicker, great frozen as sorbet...in fruit salads...

About Me
I became an ethical vegetarian at a young age, and later vegan. While I felt great about my moral decisions, and pretty good most of the time, I knew things could be better. After experimenting with a living food diet for only a short while, I realized that not only would I be okay, but better than ever. The longer I ate this way, the better I felt, and the better I felt the more I needed an outlet for all this energy!

So a ~4 years ago I began the one sport I swore I'd never like- running. And while the first few weeks weren't easy, I soon fell in love with the challenge, simplicity, and rewards this sport offers. What I never expected however was how rapid I'd experience improvement. In only a few short years, (with a lot of bike racing thrown in), I've gone from new runner to front runner. Taking the message of raw foods to the top of the podium!

But I've only just begun. I've made a resolve to be the best I can be- to be an example so others are not afraid to eat well and live well. Maybe chase a sub-4 minute mile (current best is 4:38), or go after qualifying for the Olympic marathon trials. My goals are wide, but my passion is focused. Whether your an veteran or a novice, I hope you'll join me in improving your health, and spreading the positive message to the world. ONE STRIDE AT A TIME!

So I had never heard of persimmons before you did your kitchen tour, and when I saw them at the grocery store I was SO excited I had to get some!! I just tried one, and instantly my mouth dried up in a weird way! Am I suppose to be eating these a certain way something?

90% of my miles are on concrete and 6-8% asphalt the rest rocky trails in the mountains around us. I'm 100% Barefoot. Only time I slip on my Vibrams is traverse a Goat Head Thorn infested area or to go into an place of business that I know is not Barefoot Friendly.
I even created a homebusiness scenario that allows me to never have to work a job. Feel free to Friend List me on Facebook to learn more about me.
